Dr. Max Kaslo’s art is a fascinating appraisal of social dynamics, politics, and cultural trends. After retirement as a teacher, high school principal and clinical psychologist, Dr. Kaslo wanted “to do something different using my hands and creativity instead of my ears and talking skills.” He found himself collecting scrap metal and pieces of old machinery from abandoned ranches and mines and bringing them to his Colorado cabin “to let my imagination become untethered to the demands of earning a living.”
